CONGRATULATIONS!
If you are publishing and you have a series of dealers who are showing your artist's work in their galleries, then Congratulations! That in itself is no mean feat.
But if you have been in the gallery business for some years, think back on the number of artists who have flown high for a short time and then one day, they can't be found in any gallery..
WHY IS THAT?
Lack of training is part of it. If you are leaving the sales approach up the salespeople on the front lines, you are seriously limiting your potential for longevity.
WHAT ARE THEY SAYING?
Nothing is worse for you and your artist than to have a salesperson tell a customer
something entirely different about your artist, than what another saleperson said in some other cityespecially during an exhibition. Your potential for a successful show depends on preshow training.
If you don't have a trainer or aren't versed in sales training, you need to talk to us. We can formulate a program for you and go into your galleries either before a show, or on an ad hoc basis and train the staff not just in how to sell, but how to sell YOUR artist.
STANDARDIZED APPROACH
We can put together a compelling and enticing argument for the merits of your artist, using academic foundations that will extol and explain the virtues of the art and the artist. And we can dovetail that argument into a compartmental, linear sales presentation for use by the cooperating gallery's sales staff.
SOME THINGS WE CAN DO FOR YOU:
Sales Manuals and training materials specifically for your artist
On site training programs
Telephone conference training for each gallery before a show
Onsite pre-show training and re-training
Exhibition consult for cooperaring dealers
