"The Art of Patrick Nagel" First printed in 1984, the book was published in a hard-bound version, later as a soft cover. To satisfy the huge demand for it, Mirage evidently reprinted it in 1985, Originally, the linen bound, slip-covered version was limited to 450 copies, from which printing our copies come. It comes with a special, limited edition serigraph, suitable for framing. shown above, The books ship in their original cardboard containers, never been opened since '85. (we understand a collector maintains that there were 4000 of these printed. Could easily be true. No one seems to know for sure. It doesn't matter, really.)

The book is not a catalog raisonné on Nagel -- one has yet to be compiled -- but we expect that will happen soon. However, it does show all of the limited edition graphics, all of the limited edition and open edition posters as well as a few of the intended CN series images.

It also talks a great deal about Nagel, his life and work and influences. It features quite a few of his paintings, drawings and illustrations.

A MUST for serious Nagel collectors.
