In order for us to broker your print, it has to be good for both parties. Despite appearances, there is a lot of work involved in receiving, evaluating, listing and exposing a work of art to the market. In addition, there are the added efforts of communicating with the buyer, collecting the money securely and shipping the print. We expect to be remunerated for those efforts. Accordingly, please be realistic about what to expect in terms of a sales price.

The percentage of the sale we ask as a commission is not formulaic but depends on the print in question and its relative value. We do it on a case by case basis.

After the sale, we will draft a check to you

In order for us to assist you in selling your art, we'll need to know:

a) Title

b) The state (signed or unsigned), specific iteration of the print. If signed, type of indicia (number, a/p, etc.)

c) Where purchased and from whom (important), name on the Certificate of Authenticity, if any exists

d) Date of original PURCHASE

e) Amount paid at the original purchase

f) Amount you hope to receive as net proceeds from the sale

HOWEVER, PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE FACT THAT THERE WAS (AND STILL IS) SO MUCH FRAUDULENT NAGEL MATERIAL CREATED AND CIRCULATED, WE CANNOT BROKER A WORK OF ART WHICH WE HAVE NOT PERSONALLY SEEN. We will not be able to act as an eBay-like middleman, only putting buyer and seller together. The imprimatur of TBFA has legal implications, and we are attempting to be very careful...(There are some exceptions to this policy, please inquire).
