You know us as the source for the highest quality artwork, with a reputation for honesty and transparency. We want you, our valued collectors, to be knowledgeable and well-informed, regardless of what you buy from us.
On our site you have the opportunity to purchase hard-to-find Patrick Nagel artwork, from original paintings to lifetime posters and hard-to-find signed limited edition prints -- and all at very realistic prices.
We also continue to sell the 15 Commemorative Nagels ('CN's') which were produced and released by Pat's publisher, Mirage Editions, from just after Pat died in 1984 to 1988 (since we know who printed them, and can authenticate them.)
But we occasionally receive Commemoratives or lifetime works to sell that have damage: Sometimes slight, sometimes greater. And often the damage is hardly visible, and wouldn't matter to a collector who just wants a great image, and isn't concerned with it's 'potential value'. . .
We also receive prints or lithographic posters that have been mounted to board, which drastically reduces their value. We thought we would make a space on our site to offer these prints, with full disclosure as to their condition, at prices appropriate for that condition. Take a Look! 'Malke-Sage' -- 17 x 25" Print is in very fine condition. No foxing, no discoloration, no fading of inks. Print has been DRY-MOUNTED to crescent board. SiS Must be shipped flat.SOLD
'Nagel' 17 x 25" Very good condition. SIGNED A/P! No fading, foxing, scuffing on front; Back bottom corner (2 x 7") has water damage, not visible on the front. Can be treated. 2 strips of tape residue on back top $385.00 (ERROR FIXED ON PRICE 1/29; We do have a nagel/nagel s.i.s. at $220.)
Posthumous:
Palm Springs Life (CN2) CN#2 'Palm Springs Life' posthumous serigraph - 1984 printed by Samper Silk Screen, L.A., CA Condition of this print: Good Colors are fresh. No fading. Almost imperceptible scuffing (very faint) in dark green ink. Tiniest darkening of the pink ink at the very bottom edge of the print from previous matting. On the front, there is a faint spot of foxing* on the left wrist and right elbow of the model. There are also approximately 7-8 very small spots of foxing* on the back of the print. All have been treated to arrest further deterioration. ( * Foxing is a discoloration or deterioration of paper over time, caused by moisture, humidity and other barometric conditions.) Also on back, residue remains from 8 pieces of masking tape used to mat the print. SOLD
CN#3 'Sushi Girl' Good to fine condition. Colors are fresh, no scuffing, no foxing. The front of this print was affixed with ATG 2-sided tape to a mat. In removing it from the mat, 2 small areas of ink at the top and bottom were pulled off. On top edge: 1/2 x 3/4" area On bottom edge: 1/2 x 1 3/4" area. Can be easily covered with new mat, and you have a fabulous CN#3 for pennies! See photos $44.00
CN #5 'B-1 Gallery' Very fine condition. Virtually no scuffing; no foxing or discoloration. Colors fresh. 1 small (less than 1") vertical cut on top right edge. One of the very few Blondes that Pat painted. Never framed $70.00
CN#4 'Untitled' Very popular seated image. 24 x 36" Only CN with no typography. 2 inches water/mildew damage on top back -- very slightly visible in top front blue background. Never framed. Inks are fresh; no fading, foxing or scuffing $52.00
