TERMS OF PURCHASE

FRAMED PRINTS :

In most cases, Nagel prints have been in their current frames for up to 20 years. Although the frames themselves may have suffered some wear, the print itself can be shipped safely inside the frames. However, it's much less expensive to remove the print, leave it in its matting and backing, which is a safe, archival, enrivonment. In (very) rare cases, we will ship flat. Cost to ship prints varies with distance. Call for quote.

UNFRAMED PRINTS:

We generally ship serigraphs rolled, in a wide tube to prevent crimping. We use primarily USPS (since the postal service is the best carrier for insuring expensive prints) or FedEx two day air. Cost to ship prints varies with distance, weight and size of tube. Call for quote.

TERMS of OUR GUARANTEE

WE GUARANTEE EVERYTHING WE SELL -- WITHIN THE FOLLOWING PARAMETERS:
  1. The print must be returned to us in the same condition in which it was shipped.
  2. The print must be returned freight prepaid.
  3. After we receive it and are satisfied that those conditions are met, we will make a full refund.

ABOUT RELATIVE VALUE

Remember that we're dealing with serigraphs that in some cases are over twenty-five years old, and as such, 'condition' does come into play when evaluating them. In addition, a good many of the CN (commemorative) prints that are in circulation are fraudulent (fakes). When you see one with a ridiculously low value, as compared to one we offer, for example, that 'may' be the reason. In addition, there were also many, many Nagel images printed by various entities (including Nagels' widow, Jennifer Dumas) which were legitimately done, but were printed as inexpensive off-set lithographs to be sold in the $30.00 range. It can be very confusing...
